Kung Fu Panda 3: Does Po Rise to the Challenge?

Nearly 20 years after the original’s release, Po and company have returned for another adventure. Does Po rise to the challenge and return his beloved franchise to the top of the food chain? Every animated franchise seems to follow a similar trajectory, leading to the main hero searching for their long-lost relatives. It took the Kung Fu Panda franchise three films to traverse this path, but alas, Po’s third adventure sees him meet up with his old man (voiced by Bryan Cranston), all the while battling a violent spirit warrior known as Kai (JK Simmons).
