I was very apprehensive of Kristen going into the debate, however, in my opinion, she did a fabulous job. I felt that she was very fair and professional. I congratulate her for the fine job.

Wallace was combative from the start and got the mud slinging he asked for with his very first question. Ms. Welker largely seemed to remain neutral, gave extra chances to each to respond, and rarely if ever interjected her own thoughts into the dialogue. Well done

Both candidates got blasted for the last debate. They both needed to be, and were on their best behavior. The moderator was not a contributing factor for either debate. If they were swapped, the two debates would have played out the same way.

The president seems before the debate very concerned that the lady moderator did not like him. I could not understand why that was a concern coming from an adult minded person really. I was looking for that and did not see her taking sides. It is the utterances and pettiness.
She did well. It was more tempered. The world has seen the expectations of debating skill sets surrounding the utterances and repetitiveness plenty old warm over “nothing new” going forward. We all have to rate it in substances quality truths and messaging.

The real winner of the night were the American people who had a debate moderator par-excellence in Kristen Welker. She enabled heated exchanges and gave crisp follow-up questions, without being intrusive, so that the candidates' differences were on display. Impressive performance
