So the answer is YES… working out does cause knee damage. You only have so much cartridge in your knees. Your body stops producing synovial (joint lube) in your 30’s. So pick your poison. Exercise and destroy your knees, or lay back and die of congestive heart failure.
Your doctor is most likely an idiot. Listen to what he says then do the opposite. No eggs? One every morning. Run? Don't, ever. Do skate or walk. Surgery? NEVER. Everything docs say is the other way that's right.
