Kellogg's is being sued over their strawberry Pop Tarts in a class action lawsuit.

Kellogg's is trying to pull a fast one by hyping up the strawberries in some of their Pop-Tarts, because there's very few of the actual berries inside ... this according to a new lawsuit.

The breakfast food giant is being sued in a new class-action ... alleging Kellogg's is misleading consumers about what they're really eating when they bite into the toaster pastries.is leading the crusade against Kellogg's ... in her suit, she claims the fruit filling in Kellogg's Whole Grain Frosted Strawberry Toaster Pastries is mostly other fruits.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the Pop-Tarts in question are actually heavier on pears and apples than strawberries ... which she insists is not enough to provide the berry's nutritional benefits, let alone a strawberry taste. Russett claims Kellogg's is using their packaging to fool folks who want a snack packed with more strawberries ... she says the damages exceed $5 million and also wants to see Pop-Tarts labeled more accurately.

what…?

Who the hell is doing this SHAQ

NOBODY who eats poptarts thinks there is actual fruit in them. It's like if you buy Cherry Coke, you don't actually think there are any cherries in it. She's trying to get free money, she's greedy

Not enough nutrition from strawberries? Really 🤦🏻‍♀️

She's a 'Karen' looking for a quick payout. If its strawberries she wants she can buy fresh 🍓. Who eats Pop Tarts for a serving of fruit?

I can't get past the 'whole grain' part never mind this crazy lawsuit...l do however now need to go toast myself a good old fashion original strawberry poptart. Yum!.

Do people not read the nutrition facts on packaging?!! Don’t go trying to take KelloggsUS down because of your own stupidity 🤦🏼‍♀️ On other news… What’s everyone’s favorite poptart flavor? 🤔

dont eat it then

Here's an idea... buy actual strawberries... if you buy something like Pop Tarts don't expect it to be full of fruits and other 'natural' stuff. And if you have any doubts, check the list of ingredients... etc.

Seriously!! How much time does this woman have on her hands 😂

The ingredients are listed. If your desire is to obtain the nutritional benefits strawberries offer - Strawberry Pop-Tarts are probably not your best option. I wouldn't classify being heavier on the Pears and Apples as horrendous - it isn't as if they're boxing used tampons.

When has anyone looked at a Pop Tart and thought they were eating a bunch of real fruit. I eat them because I grew up on them, not for nutritional value.

Live look at Velveeta…

🍓 KelloggCompany 😂😂 😎

I want to join in, because I can’t find the unfrosted strawberry anywhere, and I’m going through pain and suffering.
