Milin J. Patel, 32, was arrested in the case investigated by the Katy Police Department. He is currently being held in jail on a $40,000 bond. ‘Cases are getting more severe’: New law that could redefine what stalking is going into effect in September According to reports, Katy police met with a woman who informed them that Patel had been harassing her for the past two years by sending her threatening messages and emotional blackmail, as well as following her in his vehicle. The woman said she and Tatel had been in a relationship for 14 months but broke up with him in March of 2022.On March 7, he allegedly told her, “I am going to kill you and kill myself, I will not let you live here without me.
Katy police arrested Patel on July 16, 2023, after he trespassed at her residence. In her complaint, the woman alleges that Patel assaulted her on June 14, 2022, but she failed to report it to police and that on March 11, 2022, Tatel allegedly pointed a firearm at her young daughter and was arrested by Katy police for that incident and charged with aggravated assault.
