As the lockdown eases in the U.K., Kate Middleton is easing back into public life, making a recent trip to plant sunflowers for a great cause.visited a children's hospice earlier this week to help families plant a garden in Norfolk as part of Children's Hospice Week 2020, which is organized by the charity Together for Short Lives, an organization that aims to raise money for the U.K.'s 54 children's hospices.
During her visit, Middleton donated the plants she bought at Fakenham Garden Centre last week during hersince quarantine. The duchess "worked alongside an EACH volunteer gardener and a family to plant a garden that will provide enjoyment for children and families, according the Kensington Palace Instagram statement.
"The care and the nurture that you provide children and families in the most unimaginable circumstances is just awe-inspiring," Middleton also said in the special audio message, below. "I’d also like to pay tribute to all those families out there who are caring for and looking after a child with a life-limiting illness. You do the most extraordinary job, and I know it’s particularly hard at the moment, so my thoughts go out to you all.
