California Senator and 2020 presidential candidate Kamala Harris is backing away from Medicare for All, just two years after she co-sponsored the bill in the Senate.
"I think almost every member of the United States Senate who's running for President and many others, have signed on to a variety of plans in the Senate. And I have done the same," she said at the fundraiser, according to her campaign."[A]ll of them are good ideas, which is why I support them. And I support Medicare for All. But as you may have noticed, over the course of many months, I've not been comfortable with Bernie's plan, the Medicare for All plan.
Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris looks on during a healthcare roundtable at The Loft at the First United Methodist Church on August 12, 2019 in Burlington, Iowa. But this isn't the first time Harris has had to walk back her support of Medicare for All. During the first Democratic debate, she was one of two candidates who raised their hands when asked if they would get rid of private health insurance as president.
Harris has the rainbow coalition and PowerPAC-plus (Stanford Universities Alumni, The Sandlers) behind her who is going after the southern red states for 2020.
❌FLIP FLOP❌
I guess the smell of that donor money was too much to pass up, huh, KamalaHarris
First thing to do is make health insurance an inalienable human right, and not for monetary profit. Nationalize it! If there can be white nationalism, there can be healthcare nationalism. Latter makes sense while former doesn’t. Replace white nationalism with human nationalism.
What wouldn’t KamalaHarris say or ‘DO’ to advance her career? Just ask Willie Brown?
So she's Mitt Romney.
Which ever way the wind blows.
No LONGER! like when she smoked weed and then prosecuted people who did, whatever.
Smart, because MFA is going nowhere.
Hey if saying something else might poll better go for it.
She doesn’t have a clue
She’ll say something different next week.

A 'flip-flop' is a sudden real or apparent change of policy or opinion by a public official, sometimes while trying to claim that both positions are consistent with each other. Often occuring during the period prior to or following an election in order to maximize the popularity
Ask her again tomorrow. I’m sure her opinion will change like every other opinion she has had
Do each of her personalities have names, or do they all go by Kamala?
Guess what, she never did.
Is this the opening she’s been waiting for to drop out of the Dem presidential primary? It looks like it. I hear that staunch Republicans still support for-profit health insurance. She should take on Trump in the GOP primaries. Bernie2020 MedicareForAll
