Kamala Harris, presidential hopeful and buzz-worthy candidate, has spoken about the importance of having two immigrant parents to her own political values and causes. In particular, she has spoken about hera Tamil Indian-American who became a leading cancer researcher and activist and passed away from colon cancer in 2009.
