UPDATE: PETA President Ingrid Newkirk issued a statement to BuzzFeed in regards to Justin's comments, which you can read in its entirety ahead:"Sorry, Justin, but you must think more deeply about this issue: When millions of animals are losing their lives every year because not enough people adopt—choosing instead to shop—the animal overpopulation crisis is a"real problem." That's what"sucks.

PETA should focus on spay/neuter. I know Veterinarians who've also purchased exotic cats. Shelters wouldn't be so inundated if people would just spay and neuter
