The subpoenas, reported earlier by the Washington Post, are the latest indication that the department’s probe into efforts by Mr. Trump and his allies to overturn his election loss is escalating. Attorney General Merrick Garland last month appointed Mr. Smith, a former federal and international war-crimes prosecutor, to oversee that investigation as well as a separate probe into theMr.

I can’t imagine that there wasn’t a rush to supply anything and everything related to Donald Trump from these states to the Jan. 6 committee and anyone else that was trying to get to Trump. They just keep trying but after all this time I don’t think they will find anything.
