Still awaiting a verdict: Jury for Marco Perez trial continues deliberations A jury found Marco Perez guilty of capital murder of a police officer Thursday.
As for the defense, they explained their plan to discuss factors like Perez’s age, his family, and what duress he may have been under at the instant of the crime. Perez was 19 years old when he shot Tuder. They plan to present a witness who can speak to Perez’s brain development in 2019. The defense also spoke about Perez’s family who stood behind him throughout the trial. One of the main points made in the defense's opening statement is that this case involves enough death already.

At first, she thought Krissy and Tuder were expecting a child after she misheard Krissy say, "we got a boy." Reality set in for Noreen when she realized Krissy said "no, they got our boy.
The jury continued to deliberate whether Marco Perez is guilty of capital murder. He is accused of shooting and killing Mobile Police Officer Sean Tuder in 2019.
