Known to some as the country’s “second Independence Day,” Juneteenth celebrates the freedom of enslaved people in the United States at the end of the Civil War

On that day, Granger declared, “The people of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. Awesome, another holiday no one celebrates.

Thank the Republicans for ending slavery

Happy Father’s Day !

The LGBTQ month of pride only goes thus far when you're describing an uncircumcised (sic) as an armour of light. Perhaps vending emancipations asking Mormons whether the new medium creates an juxtaposition for wolves in sheep's clothing? 'In the grocery store.'

Juneteenth is not the second Independence Day. Saying this is disgusting and insulting to all veterans.

NG - Nothing but a bunch of clickbait BS can't even read a couple paragraphs b4 their pop-up bulshit Takes over the screen

They can thank Republicans.

hi

I think the peoples of our world miss many moments if there is no history specially of world wars

The problem with Juneteenth in America and with the majority of white people celebrating it is because America has to acknowledge its dirty past.America wants to keep Perceiving that it's this great Country founded on great Christian and moral values and in actuality it was evil

When we will be having a real freedom again?....

It stuns me that so many people did not know this

Incomplete though...

Slavery has its humor to for without it I think the white folks could have died of hunger or left all alone paradigm...get my drift

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

It’s a seriously stupid name.

That's a negative

I think we should keep moving with our life , what is already in the past its such kind a part of the History 😗

Reconstruction, lasted from 1865 to 1877, afterward, The Compromise of 1877, lynching, disenfranchisement (Jim Crow), & segregationist laws proliferated; it wouldn't be until the 1960s Civil Rights Movement that JimCrow & segregation would be outlawed; juneteenth2022 CRT

Juneteeth. Should be a love that was destroyed by egotistical business owners and city leaders. Black and White utilized this couple to prove a point which led to heartache and bloodshed. Get your story straight and stop fabricating stories for momentary advertising.
