The Judicial Crisis Network, a conservative legal group, will spend $3 million on a television and digital advertisement calling for the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court

— part of a broader $25 million conservative push for the nominee.

The advertisement comes as conservative groups are gearing up for a fierce partisan fight to fill the seat left by the late liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Senate Judiciary Committee will begin confirmation hearings Oct. 12.“We have definitely scaled up our team,” said Carrie Severino, president of the Judicial Crisis Network, in an interview. “We have more resources. I think we get better every time.

So... all the originalist interpretation that money can buy? News flash: all the gold on earth can't erase the hypocrisy of this particular version of the GOP trying to confirm a court pick in the last month before the country heads off to elect a different President.

Can you call her at 888-888-8888?

Lindsey already said Repubs are going to vote her in. Why waste the money? R’s don’t care what American public thinks/wants.

3 million dollars is not a lot of money. Just wait until the Lincoln Project gets done with her.

Why? What's so attractive about a semi-cult SCOTUS justice?

Reason should be the only operating system in our brains. An additional strong belief impairs that reason in a unreasonable way. Such people in a Supreme Court are at the wrong place.

Dely Dely Dely

Why? The Senate has the votes. Waste of time and money and a distraction from this disasterous administration

$3 million wasted trying to buy political power

JSmithpolitics1 Love it, she’s the next SCOTUS justice. Outstanding lady and will be there for 45 years or more

Not sure 🤔 why, the votes are already there, but ok. It’s their $$

Why?

Good.

The Dems need to pass legislation to tax churches as soon as possible. Sharia law with a Catholic twist.

This seems so important right now, thank you for making everyone aware. We desperately needed to know this, you are a paragon of journalism, may dear leader shine his light on you

this is a Lifetime position- a woman right to choose, right to get contraceptives is at stake here ! And our healthcare will be ripped away from us by GOP and Supreme court!

Why? It is not like we have any influence in this shit. That is 3 million wasted dollars.

'A legal career is but a means to an end... and the end is building the Kingdom of God.' Amy Coney Barrett 2012. Not an impartial anything, this is very blatant and fringe for the United States.

Meanwhile Americans are in food lines

FASCIST

They have the votes. It's a done deal. And you spend $3mm instead of giving that to aid in the pandemic. WTF?

In 1993, Mitch McConnell, along with all but 3 of the 43 Republican Senators at the time, voted to confirm Ruth Bader Ginsburg 96-3; no filibuster, no attempt to block her nomination at all......... But no democrats are expected to vote for ACB. Not surprised.

NoxiousACB

'Conservative' and 'legal' in a sentence together. 😂

3 mill ain’t shit

JSmithpolitics1 Corporate democrats spent millions bailing out assholes that looted and burned down our cities.

Meanwhile, in other news, Mike Bloomberg is shelling out millions so felons can vote.

Choice of her to undo everything RuthBaderGinsberg believed in 😔! VoteThemAllOut2020 🗳💙

shameonallofyou

Her rank hypocrisy already disqualifies her.

I'm sure they will talk about her advocacy for judicial repeal of the ACA and therefore protections for pre-existing conditions in those ads...

HOW TO STOP RIGHT WING KOOK CONSERVATIVE SUPREME COURT simple use ARTICLE 3 section 2 & 3 OF THE US CONSTITUTION

When will JoeBiden release his list of SCOTUS nominees? Many of us to NOT want to see any of these people on the U.S. Supreme Court:-- NeverBarackOrMichelleObama NeverHillaryClinton NeverLorettaLynch Obama/Clinton are a bloody disgrace: NeverHarrisBiden for POTUS!!!
