Felicity Huffman Sentenced to 14 Days Prison in College Bribery Case

The judge in the case said some revealing things that could determine what happens to Lori Loughlin and others. The judge gave credit to Felicity for 2 reasons -- she had"near immediate acceptance of responsibility" for her crime, and she paid one of the smallest bribes.

The judge also questioned prosecutors, who made it clear they wanted to scare the crap out of other parents who might be thinking about doing the same thing. The judge said,"I have trouble with the notion of general deterrence. It doesn't make sense to me." And, this is fascinating. The judge said she was not swayed by prosecutors claiming the bribery scheme undermined the entire college admissions process, adding, it"has cracks in it with or without what these defendants have done."-- In case it's not apparent, this is a spectacular loss for prosecutors, who at first were clearly gunning for years in prison for anyone involved in the scheme. Ultimately, the people who count -- the Probation Dept.

-- The judge just sentenced Felicity to 14 days behind bars, a $30k fine, one year of supervised release and 250 hours of community service. She'll start her prison time at a later date.-- Felicity now has the floor ... saying,"I am deeply sorry to the students, parents, colleges and universities impacted by my actions." She continued,"I have inflicted more damage than I could've ever imagined."Huffman also said,"I was frightened, I was stupid and I was so wrong.

As for the $20,000 fine and community service punishment Felicity's legal team suggested? Prosecutors say it amounts to nothing considering Huffman is worth tens of millions and enjoys doing community service.

Hey wannabe TMZ lawyers. NOT a loss for Prosecutors, but rather a win. Just wait until Lori gets her turn. Hey Harvey, can't believe you have these (think they know it all) employees working for you !! HarveyLevinTMZ

This just makes me wonder how much time Lori is going to get!! my guess is 16 days!! smh!

Does she get good time on that? 😂😂

What is the difference between what Huffman did and what Kennedys, SenBlumenthal and the other politicians that have forced their children into an Ivy University? One is money, the other is intimidation.

Rich people.....

People need to get a grip waving their pitchforks about how she should get longer. This is a tough sentence for somebody who was basically just trying to push her child ahead. She is not a threat to society theres no need for taxpayers to pay $2000 per week keeping her locked up

She gets way more then Thomas Ravenel who already has a criminal background and he actually assaulted a women bought one way out of one and then has to pay $500 I mean WTH Tell me this isn’t bull💩

She will go in for 12 hours and come out due to over crowding or something

This must be the so called 'white privilege' is all about... interesting.

I knew she'd get a slap on wrist!..14 days is nothing!,more celebrity justice!. again!.

She got what she deserved. 14 days is still 14 days. She could have just gotten probation.

Just for taste:)

Guarantee of an average joe did this . They would get life.

Out in 2 or 3 days for over crowding like when Paris went to prison.

Abby Lee Miller made it , you will be ok

😒 ridiculous, a prime example of how fucked up our justice system is

Lori Laughlin walking for sure. Fucked up! Pisses me off. We have to walk a straight line and don’t get a slap on the wrist.

Not surprised. The other side she would’ve gotten slammed. SmfH

NO ! Justice was not served ! She needs to be in prison. All this means is that the rest of them will get off of the hook too !!!! Always 2 sides to the justice system, rich = you get off the hook, poor =, you go to prison ! Really sad !

All day every day😪😪😪

Think..she rec’14 days in jail, mother who registered her kid in the wrong school sentenced to 5 yrs..justice is grand, ain’t it?(sarcastically)

The funny thing is just because your smart, have done community service hours, athletic etc, does not mean you get admission into USC. Don’t forget, they like diverse campuses. That means some kid from a different background, race or country may get in before your rockstar.

14 days 😂 the prison system at its core is to rehabilitate those admitted. 14 days is a vacation, not rehabilitation.

What a joke..... money buys freedom? Appeal that ridiculous sentence..... 6 moths minimum and in a regular prison.....no country club. Perhaps where Epstein was? With better cameras..... and real guards?

All that for 2 weeks?

That’s bullshit

For what? I'm gonna say whatever they dreamed up gets thrown out on appeal.

Funny that she is the poster child for this when everyone knew that rich people did this for their kids all the time. What a charade.

Is that all!?! Now if that was a minority it would be a completely different scenario

She is not that bad. She had dishonesty, no one, no one should beat her down. That is cruel if you are mean to her.
