“She was not just a little waif blowing in the wind,” Jackson said, comparing Williams’ role in the mob to a “coxswain on a crew team.” A jury convicted Williams in December of civil disorder and resisting police but deadlocked on a charge that Williams obstructed Congress and abetted the theft of Pelosi’s laptop. Williams is on tape entering Pelosi’s conference room while other rioters took the laptop, and she encouraged them to steal it, but Williams’ lawyers contended that it was unclear if the other rioters heard her comment.
It was not, Jackson emphasized, “because her dizzy little head was confused about which building in Washington was which.”

RepScottPerry, Riley lives in your District. Did you stand up for her at her sentencing? Did you tell the judge you spent the 3 months before the 1/6 Insurrection lying to your constituents about the stolen election and trying to overturn their votes? I didn’t think so. Coward.
I believe it was Williams who said, “they don’t put people like me in jail.” FAFO.
On the one hand, I agree with trying all these people for the J6 mayhem, and on the other hand (a) most of these sentences are exceedingly and disproportionately harsh and (b) their ring-leader has been given a free-pass because he's an oligarch which adds insult to injury.
Even Pelosi's own daughter admitted that there was NO INSURRECTION. take a tour, go to prison.

You trespass into Nancy's office, you get 3 years. You burn down federal courts (and are a Democrat voter), you get 0 days. You loot high end stores (and are a Democrat voter, you get 0 days You push people onto the subway tracks (and are a Democrat voter), you get 0 days.
