Revoking citizenship to born citizens who served in Army, or diplomacy, for foreign countries is an accepted standard worldwide. It comes from Roman Law under the name of 'ostracism'.

I don't think her citizenship can be revoked unilaterally; rather, the question is whether she ever had US citizenship. Children of diplomats aren't automatically given citizenship. He had surrendered his diplomatic status, but was that enough to get her citizenship? Dunno.
