Judge Imposes New Limits on Texas Abortion Ban During Coronavirus Crisis

A federal judge again restrained Texas from banning abortion during the coronavirus public-health crisis, this time adopting a more limited approach that allows the state to prohibit the procedure in some circumstances, but not others.

The new temporary restraining order issued late Thursday by U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel in Austin comes after a federal appeals court overturned a broader order he issued against Texas on March 30.

The entire world shuts down to avoid a few thousand deaths from a coronavirus yet doesn't think twice about the millions of human (1/4 of world's preborn) via abortion. Hypocrites all!

To clarify- banning medical procedures that are done without need of ppe (abortions done with pills that can be prescribed) is just as wrong as the ban on gun sales in other states that I mentioned in my other tweet.

A ban on nonessential medical procedures to preserve protective gear and other medical equipment during a worldwide shortage in the midst of a pandemic makes sense - states imposing bans on firearms do so without similar justification.

Annually, over 800K abortions take place in the U.S. But we’re fixated on 20K deaths from COVID-19.
