A federal judge in Indiana has blocked what would have been the first federal execution in 17 years, scheduled for Monday, citing coronavirus-related health concerns raised by the victims’ relatives who were selected to attend

Friday’s order from Chief U.S. District Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson was the latest hurdle for the Trump administration in its push to reactivate the federal death chamber in Terre Haute, Ind. The judge indefinitely delayed the execution.

The judge was nominated by Obama.

So now activist dem judges would rather protect a murder and one of the worst criminals in order to spite Trump. Can't say I am surprised, they probably want his vote in November. 😡

Well! No worries! His day coming near or later! Remember what hi did right?

So, those families who have people dying of COVID aren’t able to spend final moments with their loved ones, yet this is an acceptable reason for postponing this event? I’m sure all those families who lost loved ones would have preferred a postponement too. Seems weak to me.

That guy should’ve been in a hole in the ground years ago 😏

Televise it. Problem solved. Next.

I'm calling BS... How many families couldn't be with loved ones as they passed in hospitals with COVID!? I don't see my new grandson. Just ZOOM the execution to the relatives. It works great for the rest of us!

A judge with an agenda.

Ridiculous.

But his life got prolonged.

TrumpGate Since he was impeached nothing has changed with the most corrupt president in our history. Please retweet and follow us!

Oh ffs

if executions were publically televised, then our society might see less crime. i mean, executions have always been a public event, right?

Just livestream that shit.

Ridiculous

Judge halts 1st federal execution in 17 years, citing virusBREAKING: A judge has delayed the first federal execution in 17 years because the victims' family members want to attend but feared traveling during the coronavirus pandemic. Daniel Lee had been scheduled to die by lethal injection Monday in Indiana. Can’t blame them for wanting to be there to be honest, he murdered a mother father and daughter Daniel Lee murdered two adults and an 8-year-old girl. If it had been my family, I'd ask to get the execution done and watch it on Zoom. Some killers deserve death, and this man is near the top of that list. Convicted murderer gets the privilege of not dying without his family. A privilege not afforded to thousands of innocent families the past few months. Execute him.
