"Most state-owned enterprises don't do a particularly good job," he added. "You look around the world and they become corrupt over time. That doesn't mean that capitalism is perfect. That doesn't mean that every public company is perfect. No, there are flaws."in backing socialism, though many of his opponents in the Democratic race also back universal health care, increased business taxes and greater government control over private enterprise.
Dimon said he did not want to address any specific candidates. But he said that socialist governments traditionally have done a poor job allocating capital and end up backing politically popular endeavors and "bridge to nowhere" projects."They do need to fix inner-city schools, infrastructure, health care," Dimon added. "We can fix all of those in a capitalist society.
In true capitalism your bank isn’t given 25 billion by the government.
I just think it’s wrong for states to go into debt to private banks who create credit out of thin air when states can do the same with their own bank and not require tax money going to service debt. More states should think like North Dakota.
Capitalism is the main cause of human suffering from climate change to corporate greed & consumerism clutches to control of masses by the few to the stealing & looting of precious resources of underprivileged nations to spread of all forms of corruption in poor countries, etc..
In this interview Jamie Dimon is unconvincing and less than consistent on a variety of issues. Is he unaware of this, or is he just trying to tread carefully?
The banker and the shills.
Use to drive for this guy when he was Younger and he really thinks 'HE HIMSELF' is the greatest thing that ever happened to mankind
👌
Weak. Any business could take on the burden of the raising cost of healthcare for there employee- there’s no “discussion” going on. I think brownies are greatest invention of al time but I can’t eat all the brownies world and not get fat.
What about when we had to bail out the banks? That's socialism on an epic scale right there because capitalism failed. And its failing the people every single day.
Next president of the U.S.
..Matt Stoller dismantles Jamie Dimon's hypocritical Davos socialism attack via YouTube
What about selling bad mortgages? Corruption? People lost everything because of this guy and he has the nerve to tell us to educate ourselves.
So Chase how much coke do you guys snort at your Holiday parties? I mean that a lot of cocaine you guys got caught transporting in the summer of 2019.
We have created mass scale pollution as a result of mass scale globalised slavery just fill the pocket of 1% ..it is good thing for one percent if they have found a different liveable planet...
Capitalism is just another name of oligarchy. We've always had nobles and kings who amassed the wealth at the expense of commoners. Capitalism is just a new name of the same phenomena.
“Once you have governments taking control of businesses, it ends up in corruption. It erodes over time, because companies get used for political purposes, not to give you great products and services”. Couldn’t agree with him more. We’ve got to avoid stuff like this right
Capitalism when I discuss annual raise with employee 10062. Socialism when I tearfully explain to the govt that my bank is “too big to fail”, and that I need a huge bailout. Capitalism again as I write my bonus check that looks like a powerball jackpot.
Socialism was the only thing that ultra rich living in another world goofball touched on. Not a direct thing about inequality and not a peep about climate change....
But we dont practice real capitalism. If we did the banks would have been left to crash. The car industry would never have received a bailout and subsidies to the oil industry would not exist.
Then why are you letting the fed destroy it?
And crony capitalism is the greatest thing that ever happened to Jamie Dimon.
JamieDimon jpmorgan 'Things need to be fixed, inner city schools, infrastructure, education, healthcare, we can fix all of those.' How many more decades do you guys need? World is going to sh!t because of the profit motive & making sympathetic noises will fix nada! Davos2020
But corporate socialism is ok. As long as your company can pay you millions. Right Dimon?
Lol anyone who can use people’s money and lose it, just to have the government give them more money should love capitalism.
It’s certainly the best thing to happen to Jamie Dimonkind
Spot on regarding climate change and socialism!
In 2008 Jamie: Please bailout me Please bailout me Please bailout me taxpayers... 😭😭
The only people who support socialism are those who don’t know about socialism. Please identify one successful socialist country. Answer: none. In socialism, everyone is equal, equally poor.

You got to be twitter agnostic to say such a thing
If capitalism is the greatest thing that has happened to humankind, Why does a persons own more than $100 billion, and another persons has neither shelter nor meal.
If only capitalism were designed properly... Corporate donations to political parties should be banned! Individual donations should be limited! Political donors hedge their bets, by funding potential 'winners' and 'king-makers', to ensure advantageous policy outcomes. CORRUPTION!
“let them eat cake”
Nope 👎
Is he saying that 10 or less big corporations should rule our country? Why vote at all-I’ll wait your your corporations to pick up the dead bodies for no medical insurance or starvation!
And yet when the banks overstep, they love that socialism to bail them out. 🤔🤔
Thieves are thieves and JPMorgan Chase is one of the biggest. Giving this man a stage is egregious
This is really embarrassing jamiedimon. Regulations don’t equal socialism. Corporate bailout are socialism.
Lying through his bloody teeth.
