Just asked my son & we are yankees, what he was taught about slavery in school. He said they didn't talk about it much in high school but in 4th & 5th grade they took a deep dive in it. Just like they talked about Christmas & said pledge of alleg. A lot of worry is misplaced.
A wise person told us in school, no pressure is highest pressure of all. Like when you are asking for donations. Or get people to tell truth about our history. It is what it is. The more resistance the more chaos. Just stop resistance. History won't change.
It’s no war, we just do not believe our young children need to told in school they are bad because they are white.
