El gobernante vecino indicó, según la Presidencia panameña, que si se frena la migración venezolana el problema sería mínimo. “Como tema clave en su agenda, Mulino ha prometido poner fin a la migración irregular por el Tapón del Darién”, indicó Michael Shifter, profesor adjunto en la Universidad de Georgetown, en Washington. “El nuevo presidente parece sumamente comprometido con esta idea”.
