While careful not to get into trouble and reveal any spoilers, Frakes gives a tantalizing hint about his Strange New Worlds season 3 directorial effort.

As far as I can go is a part of it is a Hollywood murder mystery. And I'm also incredibly proud of the episode. I went back and shot a little more of it last week. I think it's going to be a winner. Jonathan Frakes has directed 8 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery and 6 episodes of Star Trek: Picard along with 2 episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds .
