These things don't do anything to assuage/ ameliorate their galactic meglamaniacle hyper inflated EGOS. I personally don't deify/lionize actors/ comediennes anymore. It fades/ebbs and recedes with age like my follically challenged hairline.

This is not a “prize”. It is a fundraising event for Kennedy Center. One guy chooses a living comedian who the board thinks will bring in the most $. It is ridiculous. Why does WaPo cover it every year like it has any authentic honor?
