In the segment on Lemon’s show, medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner decried Rogan’s therapeutic program, saying ivermectin “doesn’t work [against COVID]. We know that. He said he received monoclonal antibodies. It’s really not indicated for him. ... He said he took steroids: prednisone. That’s only indicated for hospitalized patients on oxygen therapy. And finally, he said he took azithromycin [Z-Pak], an antibiotic, which doesn’t work for a viral illness ...
When Rogan asked Gupta this week on his podcast, “Do you think that that’s a problem that your news network lies?,” their exchange went viral when Gupta replied, “There were people who were taking the veterinary medication and you’re not, obviously. You got it from a doctor, so it shouldn’t be called that [a horse dewormer]. Ivermectin can be a very effective medication for parasitic disease.”

FDA, CNN, take your pick. They created the horse dewormer news cycle for days amongst a series of embarrassing memes people thought were factual
Whether a doctor prescribes it for humans or a Veterinarian prescribes for a horse, it does the same thing. It’s for parasites (from lice to worms) They didn’t lie. They mistakenly assumed a doctor wouldn’t prescribe for off label use.

Drugs are drugs. They work on most humans and animals. Vets will tell you to give your dog benadryl for allergies
It is an actual drug that was given to him by his doctor. This drug is for human use but with like most drugs they can also be used to treats animals. Have none of you ever picked up a prescription at the vet for your animals? It's the same thing just a different dosage. 🤦♀️
They did. Ivermectin won a noble prize first and foremost for amazing results in treatment of humans…. Way before it was used for treatment of horses. STOP WITH THE LIES MEDIA
