Joe Biden said he didn’t intend to offend anyone when he spoke about working with a pair of Southern segregationist senators decades ago, comments that sparked a backlash among some Democrats

Former Vice President Joe Biden said he didn’t intend to offend anyone when he spoke about working with a pair of Southern segregationist senators decades ago, comments that sparked a backlash among some Democrats, including some of his rivals for the party’s presidential nomination.

“I heard from many, many African-Americans who found the comments hurtful,” Booker added Sunday during an interview on ABC’s “This Week.” In his interview with Sharpton, Biden said Eastland used the word “boy” to derogatorily dismiss younger members of the chamber like himself and then-Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts.

Uh, why are people getting so touchy over the word 'boy' and 'son' when it refers to Blacks? ! In general people refer to prejudice Whites as 'good ole boys', a lot. Biden, don't apologize. Sometimes the truth is downright hurtful. Biden in 2020!

Yet Biden still didn't apologize for the ignorant use of 'boy'. Don't need a good ole boy as POTUS after Trump.

It’s your “boy” and “son” ignorance, and cluelessness that there is NO white counter part to black suffering and dehumanizing of blacks in this country at hands of whites.

Joe Biden is delusional believing he can somehow work with the majority of Republicans in Congress right now. The era of incremental bipartisanship is over in 2019. The sooner he realizes this, the less of this type of nostalgia should come out of his mouth.

Always apologising.

Don't worry about it Joe. I do it all the time myself. But then again, I'm not running for president.
