House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan has subpoenaed President Biden’s ghostwriter in an effort to get any transcripts and recordings of his interviews with the president to prove that classified material was shared.
“Special Counsel Hur’s report unequivocally provides that ‘uring many of the interviews with his ghostwriter, Biden read from his notebooks nearly verbatim, sometimes for an hour or more at a time,’ and ‘at least three times Biden read classified notes from national security meetings to nearly verbatim,’” the subpoena cover letter said.
Mr. Zwonitzer initially agreed to produce the materials that the committee asked for, but ultimately changed his mind, leading to the subpoena on Friday.
