They announced this a while back honestly, it’s actually something they’ve been doing with the platform, when they released the Buddy Movie, they also released Conversations with a Killer about Bundy. Then one about Gacy, now one about Dahmer.
They did it with Kemper & Bundy as well I'm guessing Gacy will be the next to get a movie or show since the tapes have already been released.
