TOKYO - A woman working as a tour-bus guide in Japan has tested positive for the coronavirus for a second time, Osaka’s prefectural government said, the first known person in the country to do so amid growing concerns about the spread of the infection.
The 186 cases reported by Japan’s health ministry are separate from 704 reported from an outbreak on the Diamond Princess cruise liner that was quarantined off Tokyo earlier this month. A total of seven people have died, including four from the ship. Health Minister Katsunobu Kato said in parliament the central government would need to review patient lists and keep tabs on the condition of those previously discharged, as health experts analyzed the implications of testing positive for the virus after an initial recovery.
Asked to comment on prospects for the Olympic Games going ahead in Tokyo this summer, Tierno said, “The Olympics should be postponed if this continues ... There are many people who don’t understand how easy it is to spread this infection from one person to another.”
LLou40 danielleussink Herd imunity 🤔
danielleussink Sounds like she should clean her home better
danielleussink It's multiple different strains spreading in the population simultaneously.
danielleussink Uh-oh
danielleussink I dont hope Any chicks of the kyoto tachibana high school. Love all those girls and they can all come over to me if they are worried about corona
danielleussink A logical course before concluding a mutation would be to hypothesize that the woman in question was not 'cured' after her initial signs of infection were abated. A relapse occurs when there are still remnants of the initial infection that resurface. Her case should be examined
danielleussink This is the worst news so far. It's not really a virus, it's a disease.
danielleussink It's like there's no end to this then?
danielleussink None of the possible explanations for this result are good news
danielleussink So we have zero immunity after we recover? Are we just doomed to get the virus again and again until it eventually kills us all?
danielleussink Always knew there was more to this hence the panic
danielleussink It makes you wonder if we ever going to see the end of this ..we need a unified global effort not the riff raff nationalist approach...overall I fear for Africa...can they cope if it reaches the continent
danielleussink So we're going with biological warfare here right? There's no way this deadly contagion pops up in a densely populated market in a controversial part of the world over night. Let's work together as humans to eradicate this.
danielleussink Tbh at this point we need more info then a “ woman or a man “ or “ group of ppl “ whatever y’all saying we need more info !!! If u going report it report it all age , race , history at doctor , what was she doing after etc etc little info scary ppl whole info can too but still !!
danielleussink F*ck
danielleussink So once you have it, you never get rid of it? It stays inside you forever? Great
danielleussink Could it simply have been the case of the previous test being false-negative?
danielleussink That's no good.
danielleussink Perhaps the ancient people weren't so far off with their sacrificial offerings to the gods. Clearly, the coronavirus Gods do not want this woman cured. I'm sorry woman but someone's gotta take one for the team.
danielleussink So as soon as you let them out of quarantine they become carriers to spread the disease? Sounds like the Walking Dead with Coronavirus that the uninfected people have to defend themselves against.
danielleussink IFB
danielleussink Does it mean people don’t get immunity to this virus at all? How could people rely on vaccine?
danielleussink
danielleussink What! Bloody great that is .. the virus that keeps on giving
danielleussink Crap
