Fourteen more coronavirus infections have been confirmed on the Italian cruise ship Costa Atlantica docked for repairs in Japan, a local official said on Thursday, bringing the total to at least 48.

Half of them were cooks and the other half staff in charge of serving food to the crew, the official told a livestreamed news conference.

The Costa Cruises-operated ship was taken into a shipyard in Nagasaki city in western Japan in late February by a unit of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries after the COVID-19 pandemic had scuttled plans for scheduled repairs in China. The Italian cruise ship is carrying 623 crew members and no passengers. Officials said they hoped to eventually test all on board.

Japan has just dealt with the Diamond Princess and despite a lot of criticism, responsibly supported the ship to the end. The countries that criticized Japan should show us a good example next.

Is Japan a last resort for Wuhan virus infected cruise ships? Why? If you remember Diamond Princess, better go back to your mother country.......very quickly because Japan handles the virus hideously.

Return your home‼️

This cruise ship is AGAIN 'Carnival Corporation'... CARNIVAL IS ANNOYING US 'AGAIN'.

Really

A misleading title, this ship is under repair. Are the infected employees of Costa cruise or Mitsubishi heavy industry? Are they recruited locally?

😥

don't be surprise !!

Japan, IOC Jostle Over Who Will Pay Billions To Delay 2020 Olympics Over CoronavirusThe cost for delaying the Summer Games could be nearly $6 billion. While the International Olympic Committee expects the host country to pay — Japanese officials say they didn't agree to foot that bill. Wait, is this some sports thing? Yeah, I don't care. Olympics Olympics corruption is legendary. It amazes me why cities contend for the games in their current forms. The athletes are pawns and after everyone goes home, the desolation left behind can be unfathomable. This is going to be good!

Japan tests show 11 dead were infected with coronavirus: mediaJapanese police reported last month the deaths of 11 people deemed to be unnatural before tests showed the victims had been infected with the new coronavirus, media said on Tuesday. Everyone who dies now is going to get tested for CoronaVirus. How do we determine if someone dies because of CoronaVirus, or if they die and just happen to have the CoronaVirus? Problem for many is they may prefer the obvious outrages liar to someone who lies elegantly on behalf of the establishment. With either Biden or Rump, the presidency is lost cause. The battle now should be focused on defeating Pelosi, McConnell & Schumer and their likes.
