Japan is not an easy country to live in if you don't know the language, which is challenging and takes time to learn. Foreign labourers are not treated well either. No incentive unless you love the country and culture enough to put up with it.
Japan is amazing. The people are exceptionally kind and hospitable, their entire infrastructure is efficient and smart. However, regardless of wanting to visit regularly, I couldn't live there.

I live in Japan temporarily and I wouldn't want to live here permanently. While it is much safer than the US & Abrahamic religions arent dominant here, there are several things I wouldnt want to deal with for the rest of my life. I wouldnt mind a Scandinavian country though
