January has already become the worst month for US Covid-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

As of Tuesday, there have been more than 79,000 coronavirus fatalities, topping the previous record set in December by more than a thousand, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. The grim milestone underpins the growing demand from state officials for more vaccines so that Americans can be inoculated more quickly.

The variant has been shown to spread especially quickly, according to CDC modeling. And a UK report released Friday states there is"a realistic possibility" that the new variant has a higher death rate than other variants.

Good

We should follow that president Biden's says some days ago. So, wear mask before going outside and keep maintain distence from others. Hope we will get vaccine soon.

Under president Biden

Now that JoeBiden is POTUS he’s responsible for this new COVID19 record and all these new CovidDeaths. He campaigned on beating the virus, yet he has no plan other than continuing the POTUS45 plan. DemocratsAreDestroyingAmerica JoeBidenIsNotMyPresident

People don’t know enough to stay away from each for some reason. I would sooner not see my friends for a couple of months than not seeing them for the rest of my life.

But how I thought masks were working? So you’re saying they don’t work? Social distancing isn’t the answer? Lock downs ineffective? Strange.

Covid sucks...

Don't worry, Joe is in the house to fix it

And blue states are suddenly reopening at a rapid pace.

Hahahaha. Yeah, I really doubt that.

Wow almost like this was warned about and predicted.

In my opinion covid will never go away. Even if the number of cases drop to 0 and then people will say yay everything opens up. Once everything opens up boom 1000s of cases again the next day

All 100% Trumps fault. If he did his job, these death numbers would be under HALF of what they are now,

Biden's America

Someone tell Raphael Cruz it didn't disappear on January 21.

How are things with the capitol now?
