J&J Covid-19 vaccine lasts at least 8 months, protects against Delta variant, studies find

"Current data for the eight months studied so far show that the single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine generates a strong neutralizing antibody response that does not wane; rather, we observe an improvement over time," Dr. Mathai Mammen, head of research and development at J&J's Janssen vaccine arm, said in a statement.

However, J&J, along wit the US National Institutes of Health, is testing to see whether giving people two doses of its vaccine will provide better protection.

So natural immunity does as well

For those who didn't read the article, 8 months was the length of this study so far. We'll know how long the immunity lasts with additional study time, but it was at least the length of this study period.

But to be honest nobody knows. Since these vaccines the sheep have taken are only distributed under an emergency declaration from the FDA, who knows. These vaccines can only be distributed because of the emergency declaration of our government. They are not FDA approved.
