Two smaller towns in the Austin area are hosting studio tours the weekend of April 6-7.

Arts Eclectic turns the spotlight on happenings in the arts and culture scene in and around the Austin area. Through interviews with local musicians, dancers, singers, and artists, Arts Eclectic aims to bring locals to the forefront and highlight community cultural events.Support for Arts Eclectic comes from Broadway Bank and Rock n Roll Rentals.

After last year’s successful inaugural event, Mothership is getting ready for a second tour this April. “We're a little bit bigger this year,” Overby says. “And we've done a few things differently. We added a whole section on our application for events and we're really encouraging people to do demos at their studio, to do parties afterwards, music shows – all sorts of activations. And we have a lot more local business sponsors this year.
