In his 26th season at the helm of the Spurs, Popovich, a five-time NBA champion, is still near the top of his game. He became the winningest coach in league history earlier this year and further cemented his place among the best to ever coach the game. “He’s still generating the same chemistry and same good vibes with his team’s dinners and his charisma,” Kerr said. “All the players know how much he cares about them, they know how much he wants them to succeed and his whole goal is to help them succeed both individually and as a team. The players all feel that, and then Pop loves doing it.”
