, probably including Geoff Keighley originally, when it decided that The Game Awards was the proper platform to finally debut both the box and the name for the next generation Xbox, the Xbox Series X.
But the name, and the combination of the name with recent reports is a little confusing. It’s been reported on and off for a long time now,, that Microsoft was not only planning one console, Xbox Scarlett , but two, including a cheaper, disc-free, lower spec model codenamed Lockhart. . They are very much calling the one, singular unit, Xbox Scarlett, the Xbox Series X. That is literally the name of this individual box. And there is not another to be found.It seems clear what Microsoft is trying to do with this naming convention, and that’s leave the door open to other “Series” models as time goes on. It’s likely now that they have decided not to do some sort of double launch and put out a lower spec Xbox Series S or something at the same time.

They are gonna loose the war😂😂 Design is minimalistic, but I prefer more to my Xbox one over this.. Except that my Xbox can't run the game at 120fps and can't show videos in 8K and not in the 4K too.. Well.. Take my money! Well, if it’s going to essentially have the performance of a gaming PC, then it’s got to have the cooling/air flow characteristics of one, too. 🤷♂️. Also... it’s a box, by name. So...
