this week President Donald Trump really let China’s Communist Party have it. Fully three times he referred to covid-19 as the “kung flu”. This was a significant escalation of his more tentative reference to the “Chinese virus” in March. Forewarned by the president’s terrific build-up , the unmaskedcrowds loved it. For many others, however, the case for Mr Trump’s fabled toughness on China has rather fallen apart.
The administration’s permanent state of chaos—in which “panda-huggers” such as Steve Mnuchin and dragon-slayers like Robert Lighthizer and Peter Navarro vied to influence the daily policy lurches—played a role in that. But the main reason was Mr Trump. In Mr Bolton’s telling, he showed little ambition and none of the patience necessary to address the ways in which China games the economic system. He had no interest in pushing back on Xi Jinping’s growing authoritarianism; he admired it.
The collateral damage from Mr Trump’s trade policy goes beyond America’s hard-hit farmers and factories. Mr Bolton describes the president intervening to block routine law enforcement of Chinese corporate abuses—including the sanctionsbusting of, a telecoms firm—for fear it would hurt his prospect of a deal. America’s allies were “discouraged and confused” by such capriciousness. China appears to have been encouraged.
I note the sketch doesnt show his ankles
There are 37.2 million American users on Tiktok, which the company runs by Chinese. I have been watching how Tiktok dividing your nation.
The Economist is for sure tough on China.
Honestly it did not matter to China either as former experiences shows that Trump only does talk talk ...talk. We see some minor actions and more noise from him. In today’s reality they are mostly dependent on China for most of the goods.
No
At least his government has taken the lead to say NO to dictatorship.
Not tough but sweet🤗
HK freedom fighters are ready to sacrifice against CCP. Actions must include.. 1/ Cut off HK from US liquidity’s access. 2/ Sanction HK police and government officials. 3/Unrecognize HK passport. IF NOT NOW, WHEN! SecPompeo ipacglobal robertcobrien vonderleyen DominicRaab

The US and China are hostile, but Mr.Trump and Mr.Xi are not. They are fighting together against the real enemies. The true identity of the US-China War is the Chinese Liberation War from the American Democratic Party, which has long undermined Asia.٩( •̀ω•́ )ﻭ
China is taking over as the Worlds Super economy and Americans are electing 2 mentally decaying criminals to keep corporations the 1% rather than build a system that creates smarter healthier Americans that can compete and move the country forward. They holding US back.

Trump got more from China then Obama/Biden got in 8 years. Obama basically put his head in the sand with regard to China. Biden got his reprobate son a $1B deal with the Bank of China. Interesting that Bidens' son profited from the 2 countries that Obama put Biden in charge of
This cartoon, truly exemplify the delusional mindset of America!

Trump is a loser
It is useless for US to stop china now ,china is strong enough to balance us in economy & military . Real GDP of china is much bigger than that of US .

Trump only works for his political interests rather than American people. If he wants to go tough on CCP he won’t quit TPP which really gets CCP strained.
