Top 5 Public & Private Colleges for Value
The Princeton Review analyzed data points from more than 650 colleges and universities to determine the schools offering the highest return on investment in terms of tuition and other costs. Here are the top five public and top five private institutions.
At Princeton, the average grant was $53,500 last year, bringing the cost of attendance down to $12,300 from its $65,800 sticker price. Graduates with a B.A. earn $77,300 early on. However, "it's not 100% dollars and cents," said Eric Greenberg, president of Greenberg Educational Group, a New York-based consulting firm.
I’m offended that you can buy a degree from a diploma mill and people are so indifferent, most of the time no one even checks to see if it is legitimate.
They are ALL too expensive for the average family. Period. We make good money. Far above the average. Still hurt to pay for college. One kid got into USC-we couldn’t afford it even with an athletic scholarship to help. The cost causes class divide.
