“America’s ongoing internal political crisis is the single most destabilizing factor in the world today,” sbg1 writes. “And Biden knows it.”

’s new “strategic concept,” its first since 2010, speaks of Russia as “the most significant and direct threat” to the alliance, abandoning even the pretense of coöperation that, on Wednesday, after he’d sat for a long-withheld one-on-one meeting with Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who had dropped his objections to Finland and Sweden’s joining the alliance. “We’re proving thatNATO

Another blunt reality is that, for all of the billions of dollars that Biden and a so-far-united U.S. Congress have sent in aid to Ukraine, Russia’s ability to fight on likely means the conflict will be measured in years and not months. The much toutedimposed by Biden at the start of the war have not broken Putin or his regime. And the longer the war goes on, Putin seems to be reckoning, the better it looks for him.

In the United States, however, it’s hard to see that Biden has had similar success shoring up allies against the very real prospect of Trump’s return to power. Democrats have talked—and talked and talked—about the need to safeguard elections, protect voting rights, and revamp the outdated federal law governing the Electoral College. They have not done any of these. They have also talked about accountability for Trump and those who carried out the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Biden even got indignant when a reporter asked him whether American instability and political dysfunction has now become a pressing concern for its allies. “America is better positioned to lead the world than we ever have been,” he blustered. The only “destabilizing” factor, he insisted, was the Supreme Court’s decision throwing out Roe. That is disingenuous at best.

sbg1 Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.

sbg1 Dems in disarray bullshittery. “Red wave” gaslighting propaganda. Any mention how Biden never plotted to overthrow our democracy though?

sbg1 Fire yourself

sbg1 Did Fox News write this?

sbg1 This is a weird way of saying “record jobs numbers” and “out of Afghanistan”

sbg1 I love how people wish the lunatic was still in charge. Boggles the mind.

sbg1

sbg1 is biden really, truly handling putin at all ?

sbg1 People are fools if they allow the GOP to move forward at the midterms--yet again, journalists & their publications don't get it. But the GOP most certainly will come for you (it's already started). You’ll have no one interested in standing up for you because you let this happen.

sbg1 'It’s hard to see how Biden....can do much to fix anything' ...yeah, he never even volunteered to travel the nation with a breast pump seeking milk donations during the formula crisis.

sbg1 Dude can’t keep his caucus in line and walked away from his campaign promises to do adventurism in Ukraine. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t wish he would just go away.

sbg1 Libs are not good at these games. GOP can suck up anything as long as they are in power, while libs have to be the pleaser to make sure everyone is happy. Does Fox News ever say anything bad about Trump regardless of reality.

sbg1 Plagued with problems sounds a bit over the top

sbg1 This is bullshit, Biden is doing great things! Stop with this spewing of hatred and propaganda. Most people who are smart can see how much he’s done with this clusterfuck he was handed.

sbg1 I feel sorry for him. He's going to go down in history as our last & one of our weakest POTUS.

sbg1 And America’s ongoing internal political crisis was 100% homemade. By creating a huge business incentive for spreading egotistic, jingoistic and hyperbolic bullshit for 30 years a la Faux News and here we are today.

sbg1 Who knows who is handling whom? Bringing together Europe and America together under a threat aggravated by Biden can be considered a success. But NATO expansion success may not yield much if economic retooling of West can delivered w/o rapid rise in inflation.

sbg1 GOP chances to win back seats this year has apparently been downgraded from “almost certain” to “very real”. BidenWorks

sbg1 Destabilizing. Q: “Would you say that the war in Ukraine is the primary driver of inflation in America?” Fed Chair Powell: “No. Inflation was high before, certainly before the war in Ukraine broke out.”

sbg1 Its the first time a political party has used the DOJ to directly attack its opposition and jail people for political activity. If we were a third world country we would be imposing sanctions on us.

sbg1 No me extraña, con tanta maldad política y codicia sin fin en eso la creatividad económica en sentido maldad tiene sus límites y con el tiempo se acaba notando en el progreso de involución de un país bañado de sangre inocente y lo veremos paso a paso.

sbg1 Biden isn’t handling anything well, except fresh depends and a spoon of baby food

sbg1 Fuck the world. America is in charge. They know it. You know it. Deal with it inept Europe.

sbg1 But he won't do shit about it
