While Ethiopian officials are leading the investigation into the March 10 crash, the NTSB has offered technical and investigative support. Sumwalt also said that the NTSB has been given data from the Ethiopian jet’s data recorder, which it is analyzing. Because Boeing is a U.S.-based company, the NTSB is participating in the investigation as an accredited representative.

Software prevents plane to stall due to aerodynamic issues caused by design, which would make the plane not certifiable as commercial plane. The software 'fix' is to turn off the very system that prevents the plane to stall. So the plane loses its certification while on the air?

I am hoping that the families of the downed planes SUE the hell out of Boeing. Those folks were knowingly putting people's lives at stake so they could make a buck. May real JUSTICE prevail and Boeing has to pay BILLIONS to the families on those planes.
