A person was shot by police in Absecon on Tuesday, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The shooting took place at the Dollar General located on the 700 block of New Road, authorities say. Aniyah Harris, who capture a cell phone video of the interaction, told FOX 29 that officers ordered the suspect to put his hands up and he continued to move forward. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is heading the investigation into the shooting.
