Investigation underway after attempted abduction of four girls near a high school in Arizona

The alleged attempted abduction happened near Miami High School, east of the Valley. GCSO said one of the trucks was possibly black and that a man in the passenger seat threw items at the girls to try and lure them toward the truck. The sheriff's office said the second truck was being driven by a man who appeared to be about 40 years old when it pulled up to the group of girls. Another man, who appeared to be in his late teens, allegedly called for the girls to come to the truck. A truck that was allegedly used in an attempted abduction near Miami High School is seen in this picture from the Gila County Sheriff's Office.

The Gila County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information can call GCSO at 425-4449 Opt. No. 1.
