However, speaking with SFX Magazine , Reid - who portrays Lestat in the series - teased Interview with the Vampire season 2 will include a major departure from the novel. The actor says that, while the twist had him cautious at first, it ultimately worked by reflecting ideas included in later books from The Vampire Chronicles series. Season 1 of the horror series ended with a twist of its own, revealing Louis' servant Rashid is actually Armand, and the pair are romantically engaged with one another.
