The company said that this bug affected people who used Facebook Login and allowed third-party apps the ability to access their photos. The company has fixed the bug but said that it may have given developers more access than normal during a 12-day period in September. Up to 6.8 million users could have been impacted by the bug, according to Facebook, which said it "will be working with [developers whose apps were affected] to delete the photos from impacted users."
