This contrast extends even to their approaches to philanthropy, tax documents obtained by Insider show.Brin's personal foundation, the Sergey Brin Family Foundation, disbursed roughly $250 million in both 2020 and 2021. Some other notable recipients of his largesse include ClimateWorks Foundation , which is dedicated to fighting the climate crisis; LifeMoves , a nonprofit that supports homeless people; and the National Foundation for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , along with other medical, environmental, educational, and human-rights-related causes.
