Inside Bloomberg’s play to woo black voters from Biden

TULSA, Okla. — Mike Bloomberg began his presidential campaign with an apology to African Americans — an acknowledgment of the racial inequities spurred by the controversial “stop and frisk” policing practice he oversaw as New York City mayor.

Banks would need to update their credit-scoring requirements while he’d also create a Housing Fairness Commission funded with an initial $10 billion.

Sharpton and others vociferously criticized his criminal justice record when he was mayor, including stop and frisk policing and his stance on five teenagers wrongly convicted of raping a woman in Central Park — now the subject of a documentary that underscores how the law enforcement system impacts young black and Latino men.

I’m a Klobuchar supporter, but im beginning to think he is our best option to take down trump. And can we stop defining people’s entire careers by one policy?

Bloomberg is on a fool's errand. His gun control advocacy has damaged him in the parts of the country that elect the president. If he manages to get the nomination Trump gets a second term. We need a progressive. Warren or Sanders are our best hope.
