The two girls are accused of abusing another 12-year-old girl during a sleepover, including burning her with a cigarette lighter.

Sgt. Dan Frye with the Logansport Police Department did not release details about what happened to the reported victim last weekend, but“From the stuff that I’ve learned at this point during the investigation, it is very sensitive. It is what I would consider severe,” Frye tells Fox 59. “What the juveniles have been arrested for at this point are different charges related to battery, and anything that you could look at that goes along with that. ...

An aunt of the victim, Renita Contreras, tells Fox 59 that her niece was “tortured, beaten, confined.” Contreras says the girls sat on top of her niece “for two hours” and that they burned her with a cigarette lighter. The two suspects also are accused of cutting the victim’s face and shaving off part of her hair.

Where were the parents in this house? I’m sure there were screams ringing through that house. They should be charged with child neglect for not keeping this girl safe.
