Ethnic clashes and violence prompt the main opposition Congress party to demand fresh polls in Manipur, alleging booth capture and election rigging.

The election authorities declared the voting void at the 11 locations and ordered a fresh poll, the chief electoral officer of Manipur said in a statement late on Saturday.
