Remove their key fobs and bring them into an area of a house where the vehicles no longer sense those key fobs.”

Its an attempted property crime. Those police resources would be more beneficial to the public by patrolling areas where robberies and assaults are occurring, where fentanyl sales are being made and even for a DWI checkpoint to possibly save a life.
In this specific case only, I’d vote for defunding those cops.
