MAIDENHEAD, England - Stepping over long-dead bodies of frozen climbers as he sought to reach the summit of Everest was something for which Nick Hollis was mentally prepared. But even this seasoned mountaineer could not have imagined there would be so many fresh ones.

His final summit - the 8,850-meter peak of Everest in the Himalayas - was made “much tougher than expected”, partly due to the presence of too many slow and inexperienced climbers, perilous to themselves and others. The Nepalese government issued a record 381 permits this year, each costing $11,000. With essential Sherpas and guides adding to the numbers, this meant there were more than 800 people trying to reach the summit in a year when the so-called “weather window” was a narrow few days in late May.

The ECB is flooding the world with very cheap money, for several years now. And these many tons of garbage on the Mount Everest are partly the result.

ClimateChange is fighting back. We’re gonna see a lot more of this

Actually what these people are trying to tell the world by climbing the hills ? Not only do they die, but they pollute the environment and leave the garbages and a polluted environment for the future generations!!!

There is a larger, life analogy here somewhere...

Thorough research shall be conducted to acertain whether lack of training is responsible or really rough weather for death of mountaineers

Maybe we should give Everest a break.

Everyone that climbs Everest is an asshole. It's over. Stop doing it. Get a different hobby.

Stupidity

'Everest sport' deserves a one-year safety stand-down until life-safety protocols are put in place.

It's Nature's way.
