Nice try,Washington Post. We know who Brat is and what he stands for by his voting record, not his campaign words when he realizes his opponent is going to beat him. For example: Brat claims he supports pre-existing conditions. Then why did he vote to repeatedly take that away?
This headline is irresponsible. It amplifies a demonstrably false, damaging deceitful characterization. I live in the 7th District. Dave Brat has done NOTHING to reach out to constituent opposition. He has mocked, dismissed, & projected endless character assassinations upon us.
Well Spanberger has. Dave Brat drew up a “Shit List” of constituents that aren’t allowed to interact with him, in violation of their First Amendment right to petition the government for redress of grievances.
This is a great article. But the headline is really misleading. Congressman Brat has not made efforts to build bridges and connect w/ constituents whom hold different views. Ms. Spanberger has managed to attract lots of Republican and Independent voters.
